FIFA Futsal World Cup Draw

The draw for the upcoming Futsal World Cup is in and the USMNT have their work cut out for them.  They are in Group B and will face Italy, Portugal, Thailand and Paraguay.  Italy is the 2004 World Cup runner-up (lost to Spain) and both Italy and Portugal are top teams in the Futsal world.

Futsal! USA vs Panama (7-1)

As if I needed another sport to follow, I stumbled on the happenings of the US Men’s National Futsal Team yesterday. And I have to say it’s friggin’ awesome!
