The final of the 2009 US Open Cup was intense.  Defending champions, DC United, hosted new boys Seattle Sounders in the penultimate game of the oldest cup competition in the USA.  FSC carried the game live and I thought the atmosphere was great.  RFK Stadium is the best non-soccer-specific venue we have in the league [...]

DC United vs CD Guadalajara (1-2)

The opening game of Superliga 2008 was between the 4x MLS champs, DC United, and a storied team from the Primera División, CD Guadalajara (Las Chivas).  And it truly was an exciting start to the group stage of the tournament.
